Our General Position
Donations to Simon Community Development Initiative are gifts made in support of our programmes and are generally non-refundable, in line with standard nonprofit practice — once received, a donation is typically already allocated toward active programme delivery.
When We Will Issue a Refund
A duplicate or accidental charge (e.g., a donation processed twice due to a technical error).
A clearly incorrect amount entered in error, reported within 14 days of the transaction.
A payment made fraudulently on your card without your authorization — report this to us and your card issuer immediately.
Online donations are processed securely by Paystack. SCDI never sees or stores your card details.
How to Request a Refund
Contact us within 14 days of the transaction using the details on our Contact page, including your donation reference number and the reason for the request. We will review and respond within 7 business days.
Membership Dues
Membership dues (see our Membership page) are an annual fee for the year they cover and are non-refundable once the membership year has begun, consistent with the Membership Registration Form & Program.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or card issuer. it.
